Well I'll vouch that the game exists. Played it with my dad and aunt when I was young. I unfortunately have forgotten virtually all rules, and my dad can't recall either (but I'll ask again). Definitely not strip poker. Possibly a trick collecting game.
I vaguely remember taunting the loser with calls of 'gola', maybe like getting 'skunked'. There was definitely no nudity involved, but I could imagine maybe the adults version involves forcing the loser to do some streaking while the others laugh (hey nobody forced you to play:) but this is pure speculation.
Here are the rules of a known as 'Polish poker'-orso it is known among those who have taught it to me. This is not theof the same name. Nor is it really agame. So I'm not even sure 'Polish poker' is the correct name for it.If anyone knows the correct name, please me with a reference.ObjectTo score the lowest number of points by finishing each hand withas many pairs and low-scoring cards as possible.PlayersTwo or more players (ideally four or more).DeckTwo standard playing card decks including s (108 cardstotal).Point valuesKings are worth zero points. XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX `-' `-'PlayThe round begins with the player to the dealer's left; play proceedsclockwise around the table with each turn. Each player begins her turn by drawing the top card from either the drawpile or the discard pile. If she takes a card from the draw pile, she may discard it immediately (thus ending her turn) or continue. To play the draw card, the player must use it to replace a card in her hand. She is free to replace the top two cards so long as they are the only cards face up.However, once any of the bottom four cards has been replaced, the top two cardsare considered frozen and may not be replaced again for the rest of theround. The bottom four cards may always be replaced.
In any case, thereplacement card is laid face up, and the replaced card must be discardedface up on the discard pile.A player 'goes out' when she replaces her last remaining face-down cardwith a face-up card. After a player has gone out, the other players takeone last turn, and the round ends.ScoringAt the end of the round, all players turn over their remaining face-downcards. Points are tallied for each player as described in 'Pointvalues' above. If no player has reached 150 points, the game proceeds toa new round, with the player to the dealer's left becoming the newdealer.End of gameThe game ends when a player reaches 150 points. The player with thelowest score is declared the winner.
