I have Vista Business 32bit on one hdd, Win7 RC1 64bit on another. My MoBo is MSI K9N Platinum, VGA Nvidia GeForce NX7300GT TD256EH. I installed RC1 a couple of days ago, have installed a couple of updates, including the pre-release driver of WMMD1.0? For the VGA card and have been able to run RC1 a few times but now it will not boot. After the splash screen disappears and I hear the jingle I am presented with a black screen, there appears to be some disk activity, but nothing else happens.
I am able to boot into Safe Mode but cannot load Win7 in Normal Mode. Pizza places in vista ca. If this is a 2 port video card, try attaching a second monitor or move existing monitor to the second port.
If nothing, try a CRT on both ports. If you get your screen back, download drivers from vendor site. They may have win 7 drivers that work.

Went to EVGA and downloaded win 7 drivers, installed and now I use my LCD on port 1Asus P5Q3 Deluxe WiFi, Intel E8500 processor, 4gb DDR3 Gskill, Evga Nvidia Geforce 9800GT 512mb, onboard Marvel lan, onboard Ralink Wifi, Onboard Soundmax, 1 500gb Sata 2 hard drive, 1 sata DVD drive. Win Bus 64, Win 7 64, Mac os x 10.5.6. I am not sure that the failure to load these drivers is an error since I get exactly the same log when I use the 'Last Known Good Configuration' option. I am now of the opinion that Win7 was loaded but the desktop was not displaying. When I now use the normal route to load Win7 I get the desktop background but no icons and no task bar or start button.
I know that Win7 has loaded because I have enabled Speech Recognition and am able to use that to issue commands and get aural feedback, but I have not tried to do anything more useful than say 'Start Listening' or 'Stop Listening' when I do hear the sounds I expect.
